Best battery for Arctic?

you're quick to snap a ppl.... denodan wasn't talking to you. and in general he was right. YOU happen to be the exception to the rule with your find of shorter protected cells.

Perhaps, but as I said in the post, this was the second time he questioned a post of mine. Once is Ok, twice is irritating. And then his post drew the knee jerk "what a piece of crap" response. :horse:

I wanted to emphasize that SOME protected batteries fit, and I was trying to get that message out so that I wouldn't be the "exception to the rule". That IS the topic of this thread.

Your Mega Battery Source For 3.7 Volt 2800 mAh LG Li-Ion 18650 Battery

These are the best Batteries, by a well known Company, LG, they are 2800mAh, and unprotected so fit in the Arctic as they meant to, as the Arctic is really made for unprotected 18650 batteries.

The website also have a warning about any 18650 battery can explode, seems the protection does not stop the risk, either, frankly these batteries have always been know to have risks and never leave them plugged in all night without supervison.

Although these may be some of the best batteries, what about a charger? Will WL's charger suffice for the Tenergy protected 2600s? If not, what's a reasonably priced charger for these guys?

The charger that came with the Arctic has worked fine for my Tenergy. A couple of people reported problems with it, I suspect some of those may have actually been the Arctic battery.

I'm using some 2600mAh Sanyo's. They're exactly the same size as the included battery.
