I will compliment that once my 2.7mw yellow HeNe arrives!!! Most likely WED, today it left the central shorting center heading to my area. If you're wondering its an almost brand new uniphase tube that does .7mw overspec with the factory supply.If you like red Wakrah, not a pointer but here you are.

Lovely Giannis, I wanted to get a yellow HeNe. But I have a 50mW 593.5nm DPSS very close to that wavelength now. It is a lovely amber colour. You can't beat the specs of a HeNe however.

Got two 589's. They are both portables. DL Aurora 5mW and DL Spartan 50mW. In that album you can see the colour difference between them. It is very noticeable despite the ~4.5nm difference.

Yes, I am sad about that too. One of the best places to get hold of 589nm as well.
I'll be treasuring my two lasers, that's for sure.
The ones I'm gutted about are those 565/575nm lasers. I really want them to come back and be reliable.

Me and a friend are talking with a company currently developing such lasers for sub 150 prices. As of now they are still in the R n' D phase but they have come far.
