I want to know the right procedure to connect my RPL-450 (thanks again f22warzone :) ) to a 10X beam expander (Melles griot) that I recently bought. I have an adapter but it has a female screw to connect the beam expander which presents also a female screw. Temporarily I used a c-mount adapter for a trinocular microscope, but the result is a bit clumsy... I am afraid that i don't have a piece...

Thanks

I honestly thought that the beam expanders had a male screw as the optics for microscopes and telescopes ...

The expander is a melles griot 10x but the strange adapter is a c-mount to connect a camera with a trinocular microscope. But now, with the male-male ring, I can use the expander normally :)

Is the model which Optotronics sells. It is a 10X expander, but for me it is not from Melles griot because the label was covered :( anyway it works...
