Battery Connections

How do you guys connect batteries to your driver? Springs in the case, electrical tapedmwires, specialised thing I haven't heard of? Just wondering for my first build and this is the last thing I feel like I need to figure out before ordering.

Usually a spring soldered on to
the back of the driver board center ,that obviously goes to the battery / batteries .

Spring on one end, contact button or solder blob on the other
Or you can get all fancy and use a stiff spring on one end and a weaker spring on the other.
They have to be made of contact material. You can harvest them from old TV remotes, etc.
