What is the folks' experience here? Do high capacity (say 900 mAh if AAA or 2500 mAH if AA) rechargeables work well in most lasers even though the nominal voltage is lower or do you need high(er) voltage as well as high mAH to get good (best) results in things like burning?

check out the sticky on batteries - but IMO - I use the 1000Mah AAA batts - mainly for hte longer run time....
