Batteries to use on my laser?

Hi All, I recently bought a laser of 200mw from Focaprice and came with a rechageable Battery.

I need to know, because in other pages says "Dont place the batteries on your laser inmediately after fully charge" I think because some batteries fully charged are at 3.3-3.7v and my laser just use 3v, The question is.. What I need to do to "low" the voltage to 3v?
 





You should be fine putting the battery in as is. If you're paranoid, you can get a multimeter and drain the battery to the appropriate voltage though.
 
If the laser and driver were designed to use li-ion batteries you should be fine. Li-ion is 4.2 VDC fully charged.

My 600nm uses a LPC-815 diode, rkcstr driver and 2x14500. This driver runs a little warm above 7.5 VDC so I bleed the 8.4 VDC down to 7.5 VDC after charging by hooking them up to a 12 VDC automotive tail light bulb. Light bulbs can burn off unwanted voltage pretty fast but you should not need to do this with a single battery.
 
They sell 3v CR123A regular, and rechargeable batteries. Just get one of those, and have no worries.
 
Thanks to all, The laser uses one cr2 battery And says "the fully. Charge is 3.7 and 2.6v but in the reviews they said works perfect with lasers.
