I am going to embark on building my first 445nm and am deciding on what batteries + host to use. I kinda want to use mohgasm's linear driver @ 1.62A with two 3000 Mah 18650's, But was wondering what type of battery life I would get with that. also, would I get exactly half that with 1500 Mah? If you have a better Idea that would give me better life please tell me, just keep in mind I am trying to be cost effective, so 2X flex drives isn't an option

You would get decent battery life out of that. With a "1500" mA battery you'd get about an hour or until he voltage falls to low for the driver. With "3000" mA you'd get closer to 2 hours but still just under that.

I have found using 16340 IMR cells works wonderfully for the mohgasm driver. If you are concerned with battery run time that much you should use 2 26650 IMR cells.
