B&W tek 473 500mw laser

Just asked incase someday you want to get rid of one.. 3 should be enough for now. I am sure I willget more of them in the future if more and more come up for sale.. I hoe they have the crystals that are made with bismuth and not damaged by moisture.. but who knows.

I think that styropyro made on a video on it, and there’s a thread on the spectro part.

Don't thank me, thank styro. Btw, in the forum post he links in the video description, he gives a little advice on how to realign the crystals. If you use the search bar for 473 tinkering, you'll find some good stuff.

Good luck!

I thank him to... just I really appreciate you're sharing this with me. I really love that thread and learned some stuff He actually lit flash paper with that laser. I will reread the whole thread when I get these lasers in. It looks very well made too.

Okay I received my B&W tech lasers. 2 work great but the third is not working (I knew it, got it cheap) The question I have is,,, what would be the first thing to look at? pump diode? what is the most common cause of DPSS laser failure? to me I would think pump diode,,, but I do't know. and can I replace the pump diode on this module? it would be fun to fix this.
