Hola, I'm new to the forum.

I don't have tons of skills putting together complex electronic circuits, but I do have a bit of time to toss around, so i'm very eager to learn.

Welcome to LPF ! Enjoy your stay here ! If you have some time to spare you came to the right place. You can literally spend weeks searching this forum for info and just barely touch the surface. There is a ton of useful info here.

"Average hobbyist" :thinking: Isn't that kind of an oxymoron ? It's kind of like the word "normal". Is there such a thing ? :)
 
@weirdmeister: I'm from the United States. I speak a bit of spanish, and i don't mind throwing bits of it into my English.

As far as my background and some bits that might be unique to meas a forum member, I have a background in chemistry. I actually think lasers might actually represent the next step forward in non-biological chemical reactions as the emitted light of a laser could be tuned to specific elements and molecular geometries that would then specifically absorb the energy, making those centers more reactive..

Anyway, Thanks for warm reception everyone, hopefully i don't bother y'all too much.
