I'd love to get a link to buy recommended goggles.I have seen some bad reviews about T rex glasses on this forum in the past but I don't have a pair to compare. Also the cheaper ebay blue lensed glasses that are made for red lasers don't work for lasers doing 650nm and up and seem to only work a little bit for a 638nm WL.
My cheap ebay pair won't even block a Dollar store cat pointer.
There's a member here "IssacT" who is selling 2 pairs of "Eagles" for I think $30 each shipped. "Eagles" are the best hobby glasses and a great deal as the company "Survival lasers" sells them for around $50..
I need a 650nm red laser glassesThis is "IssacT" thread thats still active right below.FS: Nice Knife Price Dropped, 650nm Laser

These "Eagle" glasses were bought at "Survival Lasers". Survival lasers gives all the details to the specs.
For $30 shipped it's a deal for the best hobby lasers you can get for your only eye's. Or buy from Survival and ask for quick shipping..
Survival also gives a 10% forum discount. They have a US sight and a International sight if your not in the US.
Ebay generic glasses made for red lasers just don't work for some reason. The ones for blue or green lasers work for the most part but its still a gamble.

Shipping is for all countries? One is rated to protect from 190nm to 400nm and 560nm to 760nm,
and the other 190nm to 400nm and 580nm to 760nm..
That means on the higher side they cover from the 560nm to 760nm and everything in between..
These are just about the only good glasses for your red 650nm laser..
i have laser diode 650nm red.IssacT is a member from the US, so I would think his shipping the glasses for a total of $30 is offered only in the US??
You can send him a Private message and maby make a deal..
The link I gave with the company "Survival Lasers" has a US sight and a International sight, so they ship probably anywhere..
If you can't work with IssacT I would not go cheap with glasses. The generic ebay glasses like I mentioned do Not work for red lasers no matter what they tell you... I and others know from experience..
If you have to spend $40 or $45 do it as it's your only eyes..
What red laser do you have?
650nm lasers are not usually high optical power lasers. I have one doing ~400 mW. The goggles in your ad claim to have an OD4+ to 5+. But, there is a lot of information left out too. Most 650nm lasers around now only need an OD2+. But, you need to be sure they can give you that amount of attenuation at 650nm.
