Arctic G1 & G2 side by side

The Arctic on the right of the screen is the G1, distance from Arctics to wall 16 feet.
Though the g1 looks brighter in photos both beams looked the same off camera, the G2 at 16 feet has a smaller line/dot.

The difference in beam brightness could simply be that beam from the G2 is on its edge in relation to the camera, since the beam is bar shaped. You can see how the beam from the G2 is much narrower, rotating the G1 so it beam was on edge would probably yeild the same effect. Nice pics BTW.
