Hi guys,

My first post, I have been fascinated by lasers for a while but have only recently decided to look into them properly.

The simply specification for a laser I wanted was a non visible beam (I understand that non visible can still do damage to your eyes and great saftey precautions must be taken) that could burn at a distance (around 50 - 60 feet hopefully which is the length of my garden). I haven't been able to find a decent powered laser of the invisible spectrum, and with the visible spectrum being 400nm I decided to go for a 405nm. I have also read that this is great at burning and better than most at distance.

I cant decide between the Arcane 2.0 405nm:
Arcane 2.0 405nm

or the SF501B 405NM in the 800-1000mw version:
SF501B 405nm Violet

Being a completely new to this im not too sure which would be better, the SF501B has focus so would this be better at a distance?

Many Thanks.
Lee

This is what originally caught my eye over the SF501B, I saw 5 mins vs 60 seconds and thought "wow".

Does it not matter that the arcane does not have a focus?

Regards

I would check with the joker about the Arcane 2.0 405nm focusability, it looks as if all the Arcanes that are available in other wavelengths are focusable. I can't see why the 405nm would be an exception.

Glad to hear, figured it was just typo where that feature was omitted. :D
