A campy 1980's tv show about a holographic super hero cop.

It ripped off "Tron" a bit, but was funny.

Never saw a DVD set, probably never will.

Yes I remember Automan :) I think there are only 5 or 6 episodes...

Schweet. Looks legit too.

A hologram without a laser???

It was still funny. I like the "autochopper" and cursor (always checking out the women)

Now if they would just release the second season of "War Of The Worlds" (with Adrian Paul) I could die a happy man. (the studio abandoned the idea due to lack of interest)

That show paved the way for X-Files, the aliens even built a huge ruby laser in season one.

Thats what you get when something was made 1983-1984.
Also since War of the Worlds was made 1988 to 1990, its not highly possible there will be a second season. Maybe they will redo the show. Also Adrian Paul is 50.

When the Sci Fi channel first hit the airwaves in the early 90's, it was the only channel I watched, I have over 100 VHS tapes I made back then.

Sadly most is in super long play mode with tracking lines and fuzzy picture.

There was a second season, I have all 20+ episodes on tape, Adrian paul was the "replacement" for colonel Ironhorse.

In the first episode, The aliens cloned the colonel and he went on to kill Norton Drake.

He almost killed Debbie, but the real Ironhorse showed up and saved her by shooting himself in the head, killing the clone at the same time.

I found it interesting that the guy who played Norton Drake was in the second season of highlander.
