same here, from 2000-2004 then 2008-2009 then I started last week

Wow... I haven't played the game since... well since high school I guess, around 2000 or so.

Prior to the "bug" fixes I had an incredible paladin... in combination with charge, vigor aura, and a whole bunch of equipment that added to speed I was the king of PKs :evil: No one could even hope to keep up.

Of course then blizzard released a fix and limited the speed, thereby destroying my perfect player killing machine. Ahh the good old times:eg:

ahah!! Nice! Did you ever play when they had occy rings, hex charms and ITH swords and bows?
 
Actually I don't really remember. I played Diablo II a whole lot more than LOD.... I mean i went through all of it single player and multiplayer, but didn't get as into LOD...

Basically, when I was playing, everything was available... then they started "balancing" and after they "corrected" the speed bug that was the final straw.

Remember how you could kill a guy, wait for him to come back to try to grab his stuff, and than kill him again as soon as he picks it all up:evil:

I was always dropping ears all over the place:shhh:

haha, yeah I remember it was called NK, (Naked Kill) and then there was TK (town kill) then PK (player kill), thinking about it makes me feel like such a nerd :crackup:



O yeah!!! My buddy gave me his diablo3 beta account and I have to say I LOVE IT!!!!

Yeah, D3 is likely to be one of the very very few games that I buy when it comes out. I really wish they would hurry up and release the damn thing already.

Sometime in the next few months is what I've heard, we all know how that goes though.

They do have pre-orders and posters up in gamestop.

I'll post a few pictures of my character on d3 and d2. I'm level 10 on d3 and It's SOOOO addicting.. this game will blow the pants off WoW.

It's one of the funnest games I've played in some time.

Your sir are lucky! The game is super addicting. I would not expect anyone to have played this game. It's sort of a niche game anyway, Definitely not for everyone!
 
I was tempted to play original diablo. Don't know why... but well... idk...

Downloaded it with excitement... and then started.

HOLY CRAP the graphics suck. I mean god damn. I wouldn't be happy with them on my cell phone now... forget my 27" monitor. It felt like I was playing with giant colored blobs.

So uhm... yeah... nostalgia trip over. Now patiently awaiting D3. Hope you're correct about it being only a few months, although I'm betting on maybe november release.

In the meantime... here's a bit of graphics to drool over...

I still play this game sometimes mainly to mess around in pub pvp games. It's not bad aside from roughly 1/3 of the population using some form of hack or mod. D3 can't come soon enough.
