What the title says. I'm more or less looking for a flexdrive that produces a pulsed output instead of CW.

FrostyTheDadMan has been working on one over at LE, but I don't know how far he's got, and he's been in some arguments over here, so I'm not sure if I'd personally want to trade with him or not. You might want to head over there and check it out.

EDIT: Thread number 1873 - can't post full link on here.

You can approach him over at the other forum...
I'm sure he would be glad to talk to you about his Mighty Micro Drive..

It is not a Boost driver though but it is pulsed...

Didn't I post my stamp of approval on him...
I've gotten other things from him with no problems...

Guess you'll need to take a chance or not....
Talk to him and make up your own mind...

He has always been honest in any dealings I have known of.

He is a bit mercurial and can be blinded by loyalty, but I do not believe he has ever ripped anyone off

"LE" is another laser discussion list. There have been problems between the owner there and the owner here. Search "Lazur Enthusiatz" with the spelling corrected. You will find it

@ Jerry -- I think you were too subtle ;)

Peace,

I'm not sure what you mean by boost driver? am i barking up the wrong tree by saying this?
o-like sell an ld driver that has a ttl input... you could just pulse it with a 555 timer and maybe even modulate it with pwm if you wanted?

AFAIK A boost driver outputs more voltage than it has going in, such as the Micro Flex Drive which will output 2-5.5v with 2-5.5v input.

Not to revive a dead thread but I so rarely know the answers! :yh:
