If I only need 10% accuracy, will it do the job. I'm new here so I'm not sure of my accuracy requirement. There is a new 20 W LPM on Laser Pointer Store. $145. Is it also a toy?

The body looks to be an extruded aluminum deal with end caps ( top/bottom ) so if the sensor dissipated heat through the body I suspect it could be good for reasonably accurate quick readings of 20w beams, but I don't know about constant duty under a 20W beam, maybe someone will test it against a known good LPM.

That said if they go on sale for < 100.00 I will likely buy one just to try out because it looks nice enough/handy.
