Anyone in the st. pete area with a 515 - 525nm?

Not good. Chances are though, that it was a 532 ebay pen. Most people (including the vast majority of LPF!) wouldnt be able to discern 520 from 532 without a direct comparison.

The 515 -520 lasers are not only harder to get but also much more expensive. Those buying them generally know what they are buying and what not to do with them. I hope anyway...:(

Well, thanks for killing my fun whoever did it! I live right across the bridge from that area and now cops will be on the hunt for laser users! DUMBASS wants to ruin my fun!

I'm agreeing with grainde, really nobody would call a 515nm a "blue-green" laser. It's green any way you look at it :p

Still... people are getting more and more unbelievably stupid.

I live in the clearwater area and travel back and forth to st. petersburg. I sold my big green one. I see the coast guard practice daily from the beach.. their air station is not far from me also.
Don't let me catch them doing that. I will show them a whole new way to inspect a colon with a 532nm laser On second thought, I might use my big host instead

its always one that ruins it for all.... anyways, ive been silent lately and I figured id break the silence when I came across this story, anything with the word laser in it always grabs my attention. Lpf looks a little different it seems ive been away longer than I originally thought.

From the description, it's possible that the boat was hit by two different lasers.

well if it was indeed a 515 or 525 I figured someone could narrow it down to a list of suspects, I know the BST restrictions help to weed out most of the bad seeds but every now and then a turd slips through and pulls some bull hockey like this...
