Hey im trying to make a banner but i dont know how to change font, or change word color. can any one help? :-/ :-/ :-?

lol, im useing version 1, i think i will switch to that version, what OS is that? Every OS is different, my screen looks so plain and there is no font changer or anything. :-/

Ahh, I see... Yeah, this is gimp 2.6.4, running under linux... it's the same under windows, just I'm not familiar with version 1, only version 2.6.
