I made a spirograph about a month back, but the thing it lacked was a clicky switch (and variable resistors, but blahh, I spent 2 hours looking round two different towns to find some)

Anyone got any ideas on how to make a clicky switch?
Dont fancy holding down a button on a laser whilst aiming and pressing down a switch/holding two wires together to power the spirograph :)

why not just get something like a small toggle switch? you should be able to find something in a local hardware store or something

I suppose. I didnt really ask for one of those before.
Everywhere I asked said that they didnt have variable resistors.
theyre not that uncommon are they?

Ill probably trek into brighton next time, ask if they have any resistors or toggle switches.
Cheers :)

Thats where my dad recommended when I refused to waste my money going to brighton ¬_¬
Haha.
At least I know there'll be somewhere to get them in brighton :D
Gives me n wifey somehting to do for a day as well, I suppose.

Yeah, they sell them, I thought they were momentary, but I checked and they werent, so I plan on using one for my next project.
