So, I ordered a pointer off them via eBay. It came, but didn't work. After assuring "Faona" that I did have a good battery and it was inserted correctly, she told me to send it back.

"Just send regular airmail no problem"

Of course, "regular airmail" means that it isn't tracked, and I'm not sure that anything can be tracked to China. And of course, "Faona" is claiming she never received it.

And of course, after her delay and what with the holidays and me being busy, my paypal dispute time window in gone.

Anybody have any ideas? I'm all ears!

Thanks!

Well, I ordered a red laser from o-like once, and had to send it back because part of the host wasn't manufactured right, and it took over a month for them to say they actually received it. It worked out, but it took forever.

Untracked parcels often get 'lost' when sent into China.
I'm not sure how much the laser was, but you should have gotten tracking as that is the only way to assure that your return will actually make it.
I have sent a few lasers back to China and all (except an untracked one to DX) have been recieved.
One to focalprice took over 2 months to show up.
Keep asking Faona. It may just take a while.

You can track international mail to china, it's just very expensive. Registered Priority International w/ insurance and delivery confirmation, which starts at like $40.

That's the problem - the laser and shipping total was only $39.

Sigh!

Amazingly enough, Faona just admitted that they had received it; I guess a new one will be on the way in a few days here.

I guess "delay of gratification" really is an important life skill.
