Hey guys, haven't been on in a while, picked up this cheap '1.3w' blue laser, it's not even close to there but I managed to pick it up locally relatively inexpensive.

It still will melt CD cases, visible beam in dim light, etc etc

With it came 2x 16340 (3.7v) UltraFire batteries (880mah). My first thought was swapping them both for an 18650 as the 16430s fit loosley in the host, but the voltage wouldn't be there.

So I was wondering if there was a possible alternative that would give me better battery life and maybe a hair more power as it doesn't seen to get hot that easy?

Right now it looks like 2x18350s is my only option, but what about Lipos? Is there anything that high voltage out there that I just can't seem to find?

Also where would be the best place to pickup 18350s without paying through the nose or getting factory rejects/fakes?

Thank you

lighthound.com comes to my mind.. You'll be so glad you purchased their AW 18350 IMR's..

18350 UltraFires would work just as good but not as reliable and on-spec as lighthound.

+1 for Lighthound, though I'm using 2x 16340s from them in a 1.4 Watt. I'd say I got about 30-40 minutes give or take before having to recharge so I bought 4 batteries (about $7 each). Don't know about the 18350s
