aixiz glass lens

ok, so i have an AixiZ module.

is the $5 for a glass lens worth it? i mean, is there any noticeable difference to the plastic lens i have?

It depends. If there is a red laser in your module, it will give you a little extra power. If it is a blu-ray, it will cut down the power a lot and it will reflect a lot of the light back into the laser diode.

What he said. I've heard a 40mW improvement can be attained providing it's a high power red diode.

i have nothing to go by for comparison, but the glass aixiz on my dilda makes a very nice beam that can be focused down to a couple inches away to very far... not sure how far tho but good enough lol
