Advice on buying a Blue/Violet Laser

Hey guys, so I'm looking to buy a blue/violet laser.

I'm trying to keep this under $150. Lower would be nice.

Basically I'm looking for a nice, high powered (can range in power) blue/violet laser to buy. Does anybody have any recommendations?

I can recommend any of the LZCS models from Lazerer. I have a 50mw green and a 200mw violet. Make sure you are totally aware of the dangers of high powered lasers before purchasing one. Also, violet lasers are much dimmer per mw than green lasers so keep that in mind.

Buy an old junker ps3 off of craigslist and take the blu-ray diode out there. I've got one sitting around that I've been contemplating doing that to.

It's several times cheaper and easier to buy a PHR series sled and get a diode from there.

PS3 diodes hardly count as "high powered", seeing they barely ever reach 20mW.
