Normally I don't give issues like this a second thought, but that one with the color going to an awful brown tint I can't get rid of without a system restore has only happened when on this forum and when I've been miffing off a long time member. Just makes me wonder. Oh well, I won't mention it again, just wondered if anyone else has had this problem. Probably not what I suspect, just coincidence, but any suggestions to help isolate me from hackers out there would be appreciated, I've done all I know to do, as I explained in the first post of this thread.
I still can't fix it, and now I can't do a system restore to get away from it, that restore point disappeared. It's the whole screen has a brownish pink tint to it I can't get rid of using settings. What is happening is the gamma is being turned way down making it appear that way.
OK, I'll do that. I'm the only person who uses this notebook and I have a password on the thing, so she wouldn't have been able to do so, but I will take a look at what applications are running. Do you know if recovery points automatically slide off the list after a period of time? I only have two recovery points now.
