I was looking the other day at flashlights, and I saw this:

It is the nitecore D10, which has an infinitely custom output. This can be seen here:

I was wondering if, with the help of a resistor, i could use this driver, and make a laser out of the flashlight that has a customisable output depending on my needs. As the light outputs 130 lumens, i think that it is being driven at about 600mA(correct me if i am wrong please.) So is it going to be possible to do, or wil it be an expensive waste of money?

THanks
