I am new to this site.
I have a degree in physics, but I never did anything with lasers or optics. So I guess I could as well have had a degree in medicine or philosopy. As usefull here
I just bought a 50 mW green laser. And now I am starting to get curious, and also see perspectives.
welcome read the stickies and have fun
a 50 mw is just enough to get your feet wet
but also almost too powerfull for eveyday pointing
we can always use more input from your field
so dont be afraid to jump in here and there ;D ;D
Time is always the limiting factor I guess
And I am going on a 7 week vacational trip
But after that I might very well try to build a BluRay-laser like this one: Sorry can't post link yet. But the num is 1232517609
I really would love to do some 'applied laser-stuff' like holograms. I am not to sure how to start and if I am willing to use the time needed. But I would be fun to try though.
