Talking with "Nick" from Wicked Lasers live chat.

Nick: Hi it's Nick from the Wicked Lasers team, how may I assist you?

Me: So I was interested in your Spyder II GX but I heard about some pretty bad reviews"

Nick: I can assure you that all Wicked Laser products are the top of the line in quality/performance and always live up to specifications

Me: Why is it that you still list the Spyder II GX as the most powerful hand held laser in the world when it is not and has been surpassed by others such as Laserglows Hercules 500?

Nick: Many of those other lasers are not "Hand Held" and most company's take 300mW Green Laser diodes and "pot mod" them.

Me: I thought all your lasers are DPSS?

Nick: Yes all our lasers are DPSS!

Me: Than why do you say Green laser diodes?

Nick: All of our lasers are Diode Pumped Solid State

Me: How can you explain videos on youtube that show your Spyder II GX cant even pop a balloon?

I think theres already a thread with a ton of these ;D ;D

it's fun to mess with them :P also next time try asking a TON of very technical questions and see if they know them :D

Just go to their website and theirs an icon at the top that says something like chat live.

I think it's funny that he said other companies pot mod their green lasers... Stupid, stupid WL...
 
It is fun and all that, but IIRC c0ld got in trouble for a similar thing and we don't want that to happen, don't we? I'm sure an older member can fill in the gaps and explain why and all that, I'm just repeating what I've heard.

We could make a separate forum for this kind of stuff, though  :D

Unless we identify ourselves as from LPF, they will have no way to find out. I think we'll be just fine, as long as we're not stupid!

Exactly,besides there is no way they could find out.
Maybe soon I will do a chat with them,I have a good question to ask but want to keep it a secret so YOU guys don't steal it. ;)
