A bunch of laser modules from an ipod?

I acquired a bunch of laser modules apparently from an ipod. I personally never even knew that ipod's had lasers inside of them. Does anyone have any info on them? Here's a couple of pics. Be warned the pics are huge.

The pics aren't the clearest since I took closeups and my hands aren't steady. Info please The diodes look to the be the same size we use in Aixiz modules.

the lasers were an attachment for the ipod.
as you can see it went in the audio jack.

my friend had one, it was meh.
probably 5-10mw.

Ipods DON'T have lasers inside them. As stated above, they are pointer nubs that draw their power from the mic jack.
