Looks to be working about as well as it did before. This laser starts off high, and very quickly starts to drop in power, so a short duty cycle is a must.
 
I'll let you know if I get the gum!

Turning on Closed Captioning on the youtube video is pretty hilarious...I tried watching with CC, and no sound.
