They all seem to be based around wooden designs. Not sure of your budget for this or parameters but a class frame outlined in chrome or something like that would be real modern and stand out from the rest.

I think I would do something with light pipe or fiber optics that slowly changes color and is integrated with an aluminum frame, maybe there is no good way to power it on the wall though but that's my idea

If colored lights are too advanced for your friends and you then lasers must be over the top for you guys to do, why aren't you asking on some kind of wood shop forum :thinking:

I guess I was under the impression you want something better or more eye catching than a wooden frame...

ooooh, that's a good idea, others had the metal add-ons but chrome would definitely be a new touch.


I'll mention that too, however I think my acquaintances may be scared of that task.
