Hi - I just bought THIS 808nm 1.1W laser (I will have it in few days):

808nm 1000mW Infrared Laser Pointer

Can anybody tell me what is minimal divergence of this laser and beam diameter -I asked manufactured few weeks ago - few times - but no answer.

Maybe somebody have it or used it and can tell me this?

I mean what will be minimal diameter of beam 100m away (I want to use it as a illuminator to take night mode videos - I have converted myself camcorder without hot mirror - which can see any IR light VERY bright, it can also make real-time video with 850+ IR pass filter)

Best Regards.

i only know that divergence of one axis of diode could be really small, perhaps less than 50cm diameter at 100m far. but the other will be much bigger.it depends on the lens u use.

I'm having a 3W 808 soon for under $300 just to let you know.

But can't wait for a review from yours, and be sure to get some safety goggles.

Actually I bought the used one - this is just a link pointiong to this laser.
Also I've been fooled. This was not 1W laser but 500 mW class 3B.
I paid for this (after refund from liar seller) 250 PLN ~= 80 USD.
EDIT:
It sometimes blink or doesn't work at all, but 80% of time just works. It is too weak for me - but as a starter it is OK.
