Hi Guys:
Here is a demo of 635nm red versus 640nm red in a RGB projector.
I had a Laserwave 400mw 635nm laser in my RGB. Notice the fatness of the red beam, and the red splash projecting up from the top mirror because the red beam was larger than the scanner mirrors.

Now look at this video with no red splash coming off the Y mirror and a more narrow red beam using a Laserwave 400mw 640nm labby.

Nothing else was changed in the RGB other than the red laser. To me 635 red is BB (bright and beautiful) for beams :drool: but NSG (not so great) for graphics I got red spill in graphics on either side of any line calling for red.
