IIRC the total power consumption is around 60w.

The vacuum pump would draw 200-300w but is just needed for building the laser, not running it.

So still a little better than gas. I think that it’s not soo much off from a big DPSS with two tecs for crystal and diode.

However, removing the 60W of heat in a handheld is allmost impossible.
