5mW pulsed PHR

I noticed something today about one of my PHR builds.

I have my pocket mini/o-like driver/cr2, and with the cr2 it works like normal... but when I put a 1/2 AA saft battery into the build I get a 5mW pulsed laser pointer!

I set the current with the 3v cr2 to 90mA. If I use a 3.6 trustfire AA my current becomes 130mA... then with this other little 1/2 AA I get 10mA and a pulsed 5mW laser...

Any ideas?

It sounds like you are using a flexdrive with a near dead battery.

ok probably the same thing happening with this o-like driver. The saft battery is only supposed to be used for <50ma applications... so it is just like a dead battery.
