Hi,
I bought some safety glasses off ebay, these were on sale because they were not perfect, (last pair they had). But usually they charge around 60 bucks for these according to their prior auctions. Anyways here's my question before I mess with higher powered lasers I want to make sure these are any good. Now I'm not gonna point the aixiz module at me eyes ya know but I want to point them at the glasses on a desk to see how good they are at blocking red. (these are supposed to be red/ir. before I rip the module apart to put a 200+ mW dvd burning laser in there I figured I would use it to test the glasses.
So how dangerous is the 5mW laser can I safely test my glasses with it?
terramir
Oh PS: what circuit should I use to run the 5mW laser I have found data for the power and voltage requirements for the dvd burner lasers, however the aixiz module it says 3.2V 5mW now the question is does it need 5mW power or is that the laser strength and it needs 10mW or so?
