5mm Round Cylinder Lenses

This is almost 200 bucks a pair
What diode you are trying to correct and what beam specs want to achieve?

Excuse me, but are entirely too many 1 post new members all of the sudden after VG was banned who won't even introduce themselves in the forum before their first post.

The thing I like about our little 6X pairs from Gluttons group buy is they are flat bottom, you can stand them up without a fixture.

I am about to UV glue mine to little plates then UV glue the plates to my shelf and I have a length of slip cover to close, cap and mount an expander.

Anything not flat bottom will be more difficult because alignment is more than just spacing, it's 3 dimensional.

However I am willing to try anything that works, but compact size is also limited by the enormous waste heat of the new diodes, so going super small means a very short duty cycle.

Another reason for wider cyl pairs is to get a tighter final focus, just like a longer fl lens starts wider and finishes tighter, also dust burns on the lens and pits the ar coating....bigger lenses spread out the energy on their surface, there are several reasons why I see the value in larger cyl pairs and a longer shelf.

We will find the best compromise for each diode in time. But I see limitations with smaller lenses.
