I will say, the Core used to be a $30+free shipping kinda deal... which was awesome. At $50 now, it's decent... you can get a pretty nice LaserGlow 5mW laser for $50 too, if you live near Canada or the US that is... And yes they are truly very close to 5mW, IR filtered 532nm green.

On another note... note the relatively slim amount of emphasis WL places on laser safety... it's not the best move to keep our hobby alive, but it does get the customers...

Oh and WL has had a history of fluctuating from "dang, this is pretty good" to "wow... :yabbmad: " and believe me, I know what I'm talking about. See my sig if you don't believe

This thread was never about "Does wicked lasers suck or not?" And got derailed way too fast. I just want to know about the damned 405nm, which is irrelevant because I just bought a 700mW 405nm from DTR.
