532nm Targeting scope for guns

i recently got to know some dude who collects guns. im not sure wether these are "real" guns or just pellet guns, not got around to asking him.
anyway, we got talking and i had to tell him bit about lasers. he now wants a green laser scope for hes rifle, but the only ones i can find are <5mw scopes off ebay and these cost between $60-100!!
surely there must be someone here who knows where to get high powered/good quality green scopes for rifles?

they claim its 20mw.

is it possible to take the module out of this and replace it with a 50mw green module from a dx pen laser?
if so, is it a hard job to do or is it rather simple?

For most gun mounted lasers they don't go over 30mW. you can buy a 50mW module but it would be very hard to build your own mount. You probably wont find anything over 30 but you can try.

If they are airsoft guns, a 50 mW sight would be dangerous, unless used for target practice.

20mW will be fine. Don't see the point in 50mW.
