532nm mosfet type LZ44NS could mine be defect ?

Hi,

mosfet type LZ44NS in My green laser starts up slow 10 secs before seeing green light. The driver board seems to check out okay (i believe) . The output is approx 450mw and when it has started and warm the laser works great.

I am wondering if the MOSFET is ramping up. It outputs 0 amps when laser is switched on but after 10 secs the dot is barely visble but current keeps climbing to a max of around 1.3 amps.

This didnt used to be this way. Could MOSFET be failing ?

Um, why don't you list the laser model, post some pictures, etc.
