520nm 1W - Weird Behavior - Artifact? - What is this?

One of my first NDG7475 520nm. This started happening a while ago but I ignored it. Whenever I turn it sideways, it does this and the brightness drastically decreases. This is without any lens on top. Is this inside the diode or what?

It looks like the window on the can is loose and shifting around.

Probably only option is to decan it..

That's too bad. Windows in these rarely come loose, but when they do, all you can do about it is decan the diode. Fortunately, these green diodes don't seem to fail prematurely like decanned blue diodes do. That doesn't mean that they don't fail prematurely. Just not to the extent that the high power blue diodes do.
