Hey, some days ago I've bought a 50mW green laser..
Can it cause eye injurie after ~5 seconds reflected from a glass/mirror/something like that?
If it can: Is it a lasting injurie, or not?

Please tell me as many details as it possible! thx.

It can damage your eyes FOREVER faster than you can even blink... Do not ever shine it at anybody ever.

Are you referring to an actual exposure you or a friend has recently experienced? If yes then please provide full details. Without a complete description of what happened it is not possible to answer your question.

If you are just asking hypothetically, then the answer is that a close range 5 second exposure to a direct mirror reflection of a 50 mw beam would undoubtedly pose a risk of permanent damage to the retina.

If you use lasers of Class 3B or higher appropriate goggles should be worn.

I recommend multiple wavelength goggles, especially for green lasers, since they protect against invisible IR emissions as well as the green laser light
