50 mw red laser turned weak

I just got a 50 MW red pen laser and it was working well for 2 days, but it randomly just turned really weak, about 2 MW. It is rechargeable and I charged it for 10 hours but it is still the same. If anyone knows about this can I get some help?

Most likely problem is that the spring is loosely soldered, re-solder it to the driver board. If that doesn't resolve the issue, either the laser diode could be defective or the circuitry got fried somehow

If you just purchased this ask for a new one. If you built it yourself, most likely the diode.
