488nm laser with 2 output strength by a simple slide switch

hi guys, i wonder for a while why do we we all have all those powerful lasers, but if we want low powered one we usualy build another one..
i decided to combine the two in one package by slide switch to vary the resistance of the shunt resistor.

high power drives 260mA to the diode which is probably around 110mW,
low power mode drives 30mA to the diode, which is around the lasing treshold - seems visualy dimer than my 5mW red one..
