Hello, I am brand new to laser building, and I am following the
Video on trying to make the laser. I have bought the housing, but I was wondering what goggles I should get for the diode that is mentioned in the video? What sites sell stuff that will actually protect my eyes?
Thank you

Copper Heat Sink
Would you recommend this heat sink, and the diode that I listed above, does it seem to be good? Safety Which of these goggles should I get, are they all so expensive. Thanks

buy the OD 5 eagle pair 190-540nm.... and the yes the heat sink recommend it... buy the AW brand battery... the module from DTR is great.. for the round diver it can be set to your liking.... even better by the c6 kit from survival laser and order the module from dtr and you are ready to go..

Alright, do you know if survival laser has a coupon code? Also with the AW batteries does it matter if the Amps are higher or can I still use the same batteries? Thanks again

-coupon code: LPF445 10% off
-i don't understand your question but this is what i guessed....

-AW battery have 600ma... and laser draw 1.8amps which = 1800ma now basic math:
600/1800= .333....or 0.33... ====> 0.33 x60 minutes= 19.98 or 20 minutes
which means you can use the laser for 20 minutes before recharge the batteries...
