Hey all.
I'm going to be getting a 445 nm diode soon, and I was searching around for drivers for it (along with the other needed things, like goggles)
My host is going to be a flashlight that I received from my dad; the case is negative to the battery.
My problem is that I have a somewhat limited budget, and I'm trying to locate a driver that has a continuous ground plane that can drive the diode anywhere from 200 mA to 1 amp. (those values aren't concrete for me)
I'm trying to keep the driver cost under $20, so if someone could help me out here? I've searched on ebay to no avail. It can be linear, or boost.
A boost driver will save me some money on the batteries though; I already have one for the host. However, a linear driver will be cheaper, but I need to buy 3 AAA li-ion batteries...
