I put my 405 16x BDR diode in the chrome pocket mini build from jayrob in the link here (thread in signature coming soon)

It is kinda pricey but it is a very very beautiful build and is concealed in your hand completely. It is also very easy to assemble and he presets the driver for you. I built my NUBM44 with a custom host (linked in my signature) and it was a LOT more work than I anticipated. I think the moral of the story is that building lasers is challenging and there are many curveballs thrown at you. For instance in my NDG7475 (also linked in my signature) had the TINIEST portion of a wire exposed that was shorting out the laser.

My advice is to get the drivers set by DTR, jayrob, etc before so you don't have to risk destroying an expensive diode/driver
