I had enjoyed playing cosplay. And I accidentally killed many diodes.
There have been many incidents.. but i fun.
I purchased a sharp 405nm 350mw diode in Techhood.

My pen build

NDG7475 (died) -> Sharp 405nm 350mw

Driver is just 1Amp (R200) buck driver (input voltage 5v ~ 12v)

It is like a single mode when equipped with a G-7 lens However, with the G-2 lens installed. " Just multi mode diode "
This diode is known to have a value of 1 Amp current recommended. so i don't want more powerful
It also has a high wavelength value. Compared to S06J diodes, the colors are slightly different.

S06J 405nm ~ 408nm
BDR-209 410nm ~ 425nm
GH04W10A2GC 405nm ~ 412nm

800ma is good,i run at 1a and it also get a short lifetime,These pen builds are great, but you will get very short cycles (<10s), I recommend using 1 host that has better heat dissipation capability for those diodes> 500mw
a copper heatsink in a host using 14500 will be great, they will be compact enough and dissipate very well

My use time is 3 seconds and 20 seconds rest. Thank you for giving me some good information.
if i make next time. 800ma ~ 900ma setting would be better on the flashlight host.
i makes sure this one . Don't exceed ... 1 Amp
