40 Watt CO2 Power Supply Voltage Help Please

I Just purchased a 40 Watt CO2 laser and power supply from China. I requested a 220V Power supply but when it arrived it had grease pen on the side 110 VAC. The terminals are labeled FG for Frame ground and AC and AC. I would presume the 110 VAC writing would be correct but how can I tell for sure? If it is 110 can I hook the neutral to either of the AC terminals? Any input would be appreciated.

Do you have some pics of the PSU ?

Some have voltage changers (outside or inside), some others not.
 
Have you asked the seller about the voltage? Yes, neutral will be fine for either assuming there is no continuity between them and FG.
It is unlikely something will sustain damage from under-voltage. So I would try 110V first.
 
I tried to contact the seller but all they do is send me a manual which says nothing about input voltage. Since someone wrote on it 110 and neither of the ac terminals are connected to the case I'm guessing 110 is my best bet even though I requested 220V. I added a picture to the original post for anyone that wants to take a look. I will power it up when I get a chance and let you guys know how it works out. Thanks for the help!
 
It seem not having any voltage changer, at least outside, and the two "AC" terminals are where you have to hook the wires (FG is just the ground)

It may have a voltage changer inside, but you need to look inside for see ..... there is anything like a jumper, or a wire with two plugs, with voltage indications written on the PCB ?

I also suggest to try with 110 V, with a step down transformer should not be a problem.
 
I powered it up with 110vac and burned a few holes. Thanks guys, it looks like I'm good to go here. With no power control pot used its supposed to run at 40% power. It seems to have a lot of power even at 40%.
 
I bought one too but I don't know where to hook up the other cable leading to tube. and which cable goes to which end of the tube? one is obviously shorter than the other O_o:confused:
