These diodes and this wavelength have been discussed quite a lot...for good reason. They cover a great part of the visible sepctrum, and it seems that they are almost all unique; well, at least they are unique enough to compare as I have done here.
4 of the 'same' diodes (Sharp 490nm GH04850B2G). I only have had 1 specro'd (TY ZRaffleTicket and Paul!), and it was just under 488nm.
From left to right:
487.6nm, from ZRraffleTicket; 1x14500 host by Lifetime
Unspectro'd "490nm", from DTR; 1x11440 Stainless flashlight
Unspectro'd "490nm", from techhood; 12v labby
Unspectrod' "490nm", from techhood; 1x18650 C6
The 1st 3 are about equal in power output. Somewhere between 45 and 55 mW. The 4th is closer to 100 mW.
