30mw Tests?

Hello all, long time lurker, first time poster.

I recently received my 30mw Pen style green laser from O-like and am wondering if it's really 30mw. Are there any basic tests or telltale signs that it's not just a 5mw with a 30mw label? I'm not sure it seems as bright as it did when I first got it (2 weeks ago). Is it possible that the power diminished already with moderate use in under 2 weeks?

Despite its power, I'm enjoying my laser very much and especially love the kaleidoscope cap.

I've noticed that these drop in output quite quickly as the AAA cells' voltages drop

Replace the batteries. Clean the lens.

The only way to know what the output is, is to use a Laser Power Meter.
